We are home to news on Cameroon and the CEMAC region. We are dedicated to honest and reliable reporting.
We are the voice of the Cameroonian people and their fight for freedom and democracy at a time when the Yaoundé government is silencing dissent and suppressing democratic voices.
The strength of a people is not measured by their ability to predict the future. It is measured by their ability to face uncertainty with courage, unity, and wisdom. Whatever storms may come, a vigilant, disciplined, and united people will always be better prepared to weather them.

A Time for Vigilance
YAOUNDÉ – 11 June 2026 – Political transitions are among the most unpredictable moments in the life of any nation. Across Africa and throughout the world, periods of uncertainty at the highest levels of government have often generated anxiety, instability, and sudden shifts in the political environment. Whether such transitions occur through elections, succession struggles, institutional change, or unexpected events, ordinary citizens are frequently the ones who bear the greatest risks. For Ambazonians, this reality demands vigilance.
Regardless of political developments in Yaoundé, our people must remain alert, organized, and prepared to protect their families, communities, and legitimate interests. History teaches that periods of uncertainty often produce misinformation, heightened tensions, and attempts by political actors to redirect public frustration toward vulnerable groups.
The Importance of Community Awareness
Thousands of Southern Cameroonians continue to live, study, work, and conduct business throughout territories administered by La République du Cameroun. Many have spent decades building their lives in cities such as Douala, Yaoundé, Bafoussam, and elsewhere.
During periods of political uncertainty, strong community networks become essential. Families should maintain regular communication with relatives. Students should remain connected to trusted community leaders. Business owners should develop contingency plans and maintain awareness of developments within their local environments. Preparedness is not panic. It is prudence. Communities that communicate effectively are better equipped to respond calmly and responsibly to unexpected developments.
Be Your Brother’s Keeper
One of the greatest strengths of the Ambazonian people has always been their sense of solidarity. In moments of uncertainty, that spirit becomes even more important.
Every Ambazonian should make a conscious effort to look after vulnerable members of the community, including students, refugees, the elderly, women living alone, and families facing economic hardship. Community support networks can provide information, emotional support, and practical assistance when circumstances become difficult. No one should feel isolated during challenging times. The principle remains simple: if one member of the community faces difficulty, the entire community should be prepared to help.
Documentation and Accountability
Periods of political uncertainty often generate rumors and misinformation. For that reason, credible documentation becomes critically important. Whenever individuals witness threats, intimidation, unlawful actions, human rights abuses, or other incidents of concern, they should document facts carefully and responsibly. Information should be verified whenever possible and shared through lawful channels with appropriate organizations, legal representatives, humanitarian groups, and international institutions.
Truth remains one of the most powerful tools available to any people seeking justice. Accurate information protects communities far more effectively than rumor or speculation.
Protecting Human Dignity
The struggle for justice must never become a struggle against innocent people. Ambazonians should continue to demonstrate respect for human dignity regardless of ethnicity, language, religion, or political affiliation. Innocent civilians should never be viewed as adversaries. The distinction between political systems and ordinary citizens must always remain clear.
The moral strength of any national movement is measured not only by the rights it demands for itself but also by the rights it respects for others. In times of uncertainty, maintaining that distinction becomes even more important.
The Strategic Importance of Unity
Political uncertainty often creates opportunities for division. Rumors spread rapidly. Opportunists exploit confusion. Fear can become a weapon. The most effective response is unity. Ambazonians must remain focused on shared objectives rather than internal disagreements. Community leaders, civil society organizations, religious institutions, youth groups, and professionals all have a role to play in maintaining calm, encouraging responsible behavior, and supporting collective resilience.
History consistently demonstrates that organized communities are better positioned to withstand political turbulence than fragmented ones.
Looking Beyond the Crisis
While uncertainty inevitably creates challenges, it can also create opportunities. Political transitions often open new conversations, new diplomatic possibilities, and new avenues for addressing long-standing grievances.
Whatever developments may occur in the future, Ambazonians must be prepared to engage them with discipline, patience, strategic thinking, and a commitment to peaceful advocacy. The future belongs not to those who panic, but to those who prepare.
Conclusion
The months ahead may bring significant developments across the region. Whether those developments prove consequential or routine, the responsibility of every Ambazonian remains the same: stay informed, stay connected, support one another, and remain committed to lawful and peaceful engagement.
The strength of a people is not measured by their ability to predict the future. It is measured by their ability to face uncertainty with courage, unity, and wisdom. Whatever storms may come, a vigilant, disciplined, and united people will always be better prepared to weather them.
