I write first to commend the level of journalism The Independentist News, is showing proof of, with regards to the Ambazonian war of Independence, and to comment on Ambassador Tibor Nagy’s recent Interest, on a figure like John Garrang in the Ambazonian case.
He asked “Who is Ambazonia’s John Garrang”?
The timing of this question is very interesting. Who was Ambazonia’s John Garrang in Switzerland? Who was Ambazonia’s John Garrang in Canada? And why was this question not asked prior to the Swiss Talks? Why was this question not asked prior to the Canada talks?Why is this question only being asked today?
Now that Switzerland and Canada have failed let the international community convene the next negotiation without pre-conditions. Then they will see Ambazonia’s John Garrang or John Grarrangs during the next negotiation.
Ambazonia is not a dictatorship. Ambazonia is democracy with strong institutions, such as Local Government Areas or LGA’s, Counties, House of Assembly, The executive branch with various secretariats headed by the office of president, and then the Ambazonia State Army, ASA.
These institutions will represent Ambazonia in any internationally mediated negotiations in a neutral ground. There are plenty of seasoned lawyers and educated persons with proven tract records in various disciplines in these institutions.
These institutions will do a better job representing Ambazonia than one John Grarrang who can easily be bought over. These institutions have effectively managed the struggle for nearly ten years now.
Ambazonia needs a negotiation without preconditions. Ambazonia does not need a John Garrang.
