It has been announced of the passing on to eternity of Another great Southern Cameroonian Pa Teku Thompson Samuel Teke , fundly known as LORD THOMPSON, a staunch Southern Cameroonian diehard believer who died in Bonaberi Douala on Saturday July 4, 2026 at the age of 91 after a brief illness.
In his hay days in the Southern Cameroons National Council, Pa Teke Thompson Samuel Teku was the Assistant Secretary for education and spent most of his time on Ocean City Radio Bonaberi Douala daring what others could not, by educating Southern Cameroonian on why they must part ways with the Republic of Cameroun.
His political bedfellows were the likes of late Pa Feko Vincent. Even during his last days, Pa Teke Thompson was still fearless bashing the Biya regime about the ongoing genocide in Southern Cameroons, wishing for Southern Cameroonian Political Prisoners to be liberated and Southern Cameroonian statehood restored.
He was most annoyed each time he heard a Southern Cameroonian had been taken to jail in Cameroun and would not hide his strong believe in the materialisation of the freedom of Southern Cameroons even after his demise.
And as he fervently wished, he has left the Southern Cameroon stage but not the restoration of an independent Southern Cameroons state.
