As Minister of Communication, Isa Chiroma had a sacred responsibility to verify information before addressing the nation. To later dismiss his own words as a “misunderstanding” is unacceptable, especially when innocent families have lost loved ones through state violence.
Buea, Federal Republic of Ambazonia — September 18, 2025
The Federal Republic of Ambazonia (FRA) issues this firm response to the recent remarks of former Cameroun’s Communication Minister, Isa Chiroma. His reckless statements, followed by a hollow apology, highlight once again the failure of La République du Cameroun to acknowledge truth and justice.
Key Points of the Response
The Abolished Federation
The people of the former British Southern Cameroons demand answers: What happened to the first federation? Why was it dismantled in violation of international agreements and promises made before the world?
Failure of Duty
As Minister of Communication, Isa Chiroma had a sacred responsibility to verify information before addressing the nation. To later dismiss his own words as a “misunderstanding” is unacceptable, especially when innocent families have lost loved ones through state violence.
Ambazonia’s Sovereignty
Ambazonia is gone for good — there is no turning back. We are not Camerounais. We are Ambazonians. Our land, known as the Southern Cameroons, is being exploited by foreign powers — France, Britain, and America — through the complicity of Yaoundé.
Dirty Politics in the 21st Century
While Cameroun drowns in corruption and crisis, its leaders play colonial games with Ambazonian lives and resources. The world must take note: Ambazonia will not be erased.
A Nation Under Siege
The FRA is a sovereign country with established boundaries, a national flag, an anthem, and a President. With a population of eight million, Ambazonia has been reduced by scorched-earth tactics, mass killings, and genocide orchestrated by La République du Cameroun with French and British support.
Statement by Hon. Che
“For over 50 years, our people have endured assimilation, marginalisation, and systemic oppression under the government of La République du Cameroun. Enough is enough. Ambazonia is gone forever — and there is no turning back.”
Call to Action
The FRA urges international media, human rights organisations, and global institutions such as the United Nations, African Union, and the Commonwealth to take urgent action. Silence only emboldens genocide and prolongs suffering.
