Letters to the Editor

A key Contributor to The Independentist writes to the editorial team.

Dear Editorial Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express, with the utmost respect, my concern regarding the recent editorial version of my submitted article.

While I understand and appreciate the necessity of editorial adjustments for clarity and coherence, the extent of the edits made has resulted in a version that reads less like an edited piece and more like a rewritten text. In the process, some aspects of my original writing style and intended meaning appear to have been conflated or altered.

As someone who also contributes to other platforms, I kindly request that any future editorial interventions remain aligned with the substance and stylistic essence of my original submission.

To help ensure this, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to review and approve the edited version prior to publication.

I hope this is not asking too much, and I thank you sincerely for your understanding and consideration.

I remain committed to contributing high-quality work and value the collaborative spirit of the editorial process.

Warm regards, M.C. FOLO

We appreciate your request to review future edits before publication, and we are more than happy to honour that moving forward.

Thank you again for your understanding, your professionalism, and your continued trust. We greatly appreciate working with you.
