Dear Editor,
I write to commend your efforts in establishing the truth clearly, loudly and relentlessly. One is simply shocked at the folly that goes around now instead of wisdom. “A statue has been given much more value than all the lives lost in Bui and Ambazonia for all these years”
At a time that people are dieing for freedom, some so called elites hiding behind big names, positions, titles, and money have all lost the moral compass. They push hard to be seen but deliberately fail to do what is right for the moment which to me is, Independence and sovereignty of Ambazonia.
The timing now is not for some kind of cultural activities. The pain that Ambazonians have at moment, cannot in any way be soothed by all the efforts to bring home Ngonso. This to common sense is a misplaced priority and brings the people to ridicle.
Whatever attachment that has to a people and their history and culture, it is irrelevant during this period of war if it is not intended to potray a semblance of normalcy for other alterior motives.
It is shameful that some individuals, have no time for their independence and sovereignty but find time to go overseas after a stolen artifact. People need to make wise decisions in service to their Nation. This is not to say that, the Ngonso project is no right but the timing is very wrong.
