How do you know the so-called Community Dialogue and the so-called People’s Consultative Conference is fake? Check who is NOT in the room.
Our legitimate leaders are not in that hotel hall. They are:
- In Cameroonian prisons — in Kondengui, Buea, and Yaoundé central prisons, jailed for demanding the restoration of Southern Cameroons’ Statehood.
- In European and USA prisons — hunted across borders, detained and locked up far from home for the same cause, while Yaoundé uses international law to criminalize our liberation struggle.
- In the forests, in exile, and in the Diaspora — in the bushes of Ambazonia, in refugee camps in Nigeria, in the cold streets of Europe and America, carrying our flag when they tried to bury it at home.
If our legitimate leaders are locked up in Yaoundé, locked up in Europe, locked up in the USA, and scattered in exile — then who is sitting in your so-called Community Dialogue and so-called People’s Consultative Conference?
A substitute. A stand-in. A fake.
That is what ASTROTURFED means. Fake grass manufactured to replace real grass.
They cannot bring the real leaders to the table, because the real leaders will never sell our Statehood for per diems and photo-ops. So the regime manufactures a new “leadership” to fill the chairs: a coalition of traitors, enablers, turncoats, opportunists and wimps.
Men and women with no mandate. No prison record for the cause. No exile. No sacrifice. Their legitimacy does not come from the people — it comes from the hand that feeds them and funds the conference.
A real dialogue would start by releasing our leaders — from Buea to Kondengui to Europe to the USA. A real consultation would start by bringing home those in exile. A real community meeting would be led by those the community actually follows, not those the system selects.
If you remove the legitimate and keep the stage, you do not have a people’s dialogue — you have theatre. Astroturfed theatre designed to produce a communique that says “Southern Cameroonians/Anglophones have agree,” while the true voice of Southern Cameroons remains behind bars on three continents.
The only good faith confidence building measures these public relations groups could take is to pressurize their friends in Yaoundé to ceasefire, free the prisoners and guarantee safe return of the exiled. That is the birth of any meaningful talks.
Do not be fooled.
Southern Cameroonians must remain focused and resolute. Anyone who opposes the restoration of Southern Cameroons’ Statehood is not legitimate.
Restorationists, remain resolute. Fake grass never survives the storm. Our real roots are still alive — in prisons, in Europe, in the USA, in exile — and they will grow back and take over.
These traitors will bow to you.
