Mike Waltz, has been appointed as the new Ambassador of the united states, to the United Nations.
The announcement was made early Thursday May first by President Donald Trump during the white house press briefing. Mike Waltz before then was Trumps National security Adviser.
The sudden appoinment of Mike Waltz to the United Nations comes as a surprise and seen by some as a dismissal as he inadvertently added an Atlantic Journalist in a group chart about sensitive US millitary plans in Yemen.
US secretary of State Marco Robio will be assuming the Interim as security adviser as Waltz moves to the UN. His appoinment still needs to be confirm by congress.
