OFFICIAL BRIEFING NOTE: OPERATION RESTORE COMMAND (ORC)
TO: All Unit Commanders, Savannah Zone & Restoration Forces
FROM: Strategic Communications Bureau, Federal Republic of Ambazonia
DATE: January 27, 2026
SUBJECT: Rectifying the Savannah Zone Tactical Failures (Ndu/Baba I)
1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Federal Republic of Ambazonia has suffered severe tactical setbacks in the Savannah Zone, specifically in Ndu (10+ casualties) and Baba I (3 casualties/beheading). Investigations confirm these were not caused by enemy superiority, but by disobedience to the Change of Command. Units manipulated by “internal enemies” into acting as autonomous “Unity Warriors” have become vulnerable to targeted FDS ambushes.
2. KEY FINDINGS: THE DISOBEDIENCE TRAP
- The Funding Infiltration: Internal agents have successfully deceived certain commanders to “take money from anybody”. This has created a “pay-to-play” militia culture that bypasses the Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, leading to a total loss of intelligence security.
- The “Unity Warrior” Fallacy: Soldiers were falsely told that individual units could own the struggle. This fragmented the ASA into disconnected groups, making them easy targets for the Force de Défense et de Sécurité (FDS).
- Operational Consequence: The lack of a unified hand to wield the sword led directly to the brutal losses in the Savannah Zone.
3. LEGAL RE-ORIENTATION: THE CONSTITUTIONAL BIRTHRIGHT
Commanders must remind their men of our sovereign status as established in Article 56 of the 1961 Constitution of the so-called “Federal Republic of Cameroon”:
Historical Recognition:
Ahmadou Ahidjo himself officially recognized the Government of the Republic of Southern Cameroons (under British Administration) as a distinct government of a federated state.
Sovereignty: If the enemy’s own founding laws recognized us as a Republic with a government, any soldier who reduces himself to an “independent warrior” is surrendering our international status. We are a State Military, not a gang.
4. MANDATORY DIRECTIVES
Reinforce Communication Channels: All units must ensure clear and consistent communication through established channels to maintain situational awareness and unity.
Uphold Organizational Integrity: Adherence to established protocols and leadership structures is paramount for effective operations and maintaining organizational integrity.
Disseminate Information: This briefing note and any accompanying relevant materials should be shared with all personnel to ensure understanding of current directives and priorities.
5. CLOSING ADVISEMENT
Unity and clear direction are essential for achieving our objectives. Every member plays a crucial role in maintaining cohesion and discipline.
