In a strongly worded document dated May 16th 2025, that was procured by the the Independetist news organ, signed by the President of the government of Ambazonia in Exile Dr. Samuel Ikome Sako, and addressed to the UNHCR and other concerned United Nations organs, it has been established that the republic of cameroons consular office in Calabar Nigeria in collution with some Nigerian police officer are illigally deporting Ambazonian refugees duelly registered with the United Nations Refugee agency in Nigeria, an act that is in serious violation of their rights and dangerouse to their security.
The document reveals that the refugees whose present statues are a result of the Republic of Cameroons barbarism on the people of the former Bristish southern cameroons now called Ambazonia, face torture, indefinite imprisonment and sometimes extrajudicial executions upon deportation.

Dr. Samuel Ikome sako recalls that these acts constitute a flagrant breach of international Law, citing in particular the 1951 Geneva convention parterning to the statues of refugees, and its 1967 protocol to which Nigeria is a signatory.
In the document the Ambazonian President in Exile says, that it was in same vane of such illigal clandestine arangements, that in early 2018, some leaders of the Ambazonian revolution among whom the former President sesekou Ayuk Tabe were refouled into Cameroon where they are presently incarcerated without due legal process.
In the document Dr. Samuel Ikome sako alerts the concerned United Nations agencies and regional bodies incharge of refugees, holding them to task.
To the UNHCR he calls for the immidiate investigations into these violations demanding the release and protection of all Ambazonian refugees everywhere.
To the African Union and ECOWAS he requests that Nigeria be held accountable for these infractions and ensure compliance with regional and continental refugee protection frameworks.
He invites all democratic governments and human rights orgnisation to condemn such violations and get Nigeria to cease all such cooperation with the repressive regime of the Republic of Cameroon.
Lastly Dr. Sako solicits the intervention of the International criminal court and its accompanying jurisdictions, to take special judicial notice of such human rights violations including the illigal refoulement of refugees , and the complicity in crimes against humanity.
As a scarthing reminder, The President of the Ambazonian Government in Exile as a frontliner in the international community recalls that the Forceful deportation of refugees, is not a diplomatic mishap, but a gravious crime against humanity that dishonors every treaty, every international Convention, and every moral standards held by civilised Nations.
