Letter to the Editor:

sir,

Stop Feeding the Wannabes — They Own Nothing

Let us speak without hesitation: the so-called Friends of Ambazonia own nothing. Not the struggle. Not the government. Not even the confidence of the people. They are not founders or builders — they are squatters in a history written with the blood, sweat, and sacrifice of true patriots who stood firm while impostors hid behind microphones and social-media theatrics.

Each time commentators or journalists mention these self-appointed pretenders alongside legitimate structures — such as the Ambazonia State Army (ASA) or the Unity Warriors — they hand them exactly what they crave: visibility without legitimacy. That is oxygen to parasites.

No Link, No Alliance, No Credibility

Let the record be clear: The Friends of Ambazonia are not behind the Unity Warriors. They are not aligned with any self-defence force on the ground. They fund nothing, command nothing, and coordinate nothing. Their only currency is noise — the desperate attempt to appear relevant by clinging to the edges of a movement whose soul they never helped shape.

Paul Bassa Nillong — The Echo of Emptiness

As for Paul Bassa Nillong, his speeches are nothing more than hot air. They are not strategy — they are smoke. His goal is not unity but dilution: to water down the focus, discipline, and moral clarity that have sustained this liberation movement through its darkest hours. He represents the oldest tradition of opportunism — to speak loudly, do nothing, and hope to be mistaken for leadership.

Legitimacy Is Earned, Never Claimed

True leadership cannot be declared; it must be earned — through service, sacrifice, and consistency. That legitimacy remains with the Government of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, under the leadership of President Dr. Samuel Ikome Sako — the only lawful and recognized authority before God, history, and the Ambazonian people.

Let us stop naming shadows as if they were substance. Let us stop feeding impostors with the attention they crave but never earned. History will not record pretenders as founders.
