We are home to news on Cameroon and the CEMAC region. We are dedicated to honest and reliable reporting.
We are the voice of the Cameroonian people and their fight for freedom and democracy at a time when the Yaoundé government is silencing dissent and suppressing democratic voices.
In the end, credibility is not secured through argument alone, but through conduct over time. When a people demonstrate discipline, dignity, and clarity of purpose, those qualities become difficult to dismiss.

One of the most persistent challenges facing the Ambazonian cause in the international arena is the narrative that seeks to portray it as extremist or illegitimate. Over time, significant effort has been invested by authorities in Yaoundé to frame the struggle in these terms—shaping perceptions abroad and influencing how key institutions, including the Vatican, may interpret events on the ground.
It is therefore essential to recognise how easily moments of tension can be amplified. In today’s media environment, isolated incidents—whether spontaneous or provoked—can be captured, reframed, and circulated globally as representative of an entire movement. This reality places a heavy responsibility on how this moment is approached.
The Pope’s visit presents a rare and highly visible opportunity to offer a different image—one defined by discipline, order, and restraint. A peaceful, well-organised environment would speak more powerfully than any statement or press release. It would demonstrate a capacity for civic responsibility and reinforce the argument that the people concerned are capable of engaging constructively within the framework of international norms.
In this sense, conduct becomes communication. Calm, coordination, and respect for both local communities and visiting dignitaries can help reshape external perceptions and challenge entrenched assumptions. It is not about performance, but about consistency—showing that the values being advocated are reflected in behaviour.
Such moments also carry symbolic weight. When a high-profile global figure is able to move freely and safely, it inevitably influences how observers assess the situation. It can shift the conversation from suspicion to reconsideration, from doubt to dialogue.
The Shield of Integrity
In the end, credibility is not secured through argument alone, but through conduct over time. When a people demonstrate discipline, dignity, and clarity of purpose, those qualities become difficult to dismiss.
Integrity, consistently upheld, becomes its own form of protection—one that shapes perception, builds trust, and opens doors that rhetoric alone cannot.
