We are home to news on Cameroon and the CEMAC region. We are dedicated to honest and reliable reporting.
We are the voice of the Cameroonian people and their fight for freedom and democracy at a time when the Yaoundé government is silencing dissent and suppressing democratic voices.
To every Ambazonian: do not be moved by these staged horrors. Every video designed to make us look like monsters is just another hurdle the regime is trying to put in our way. Stay vigilant, keep your eyes on the prize, and let the truth guide us home.

The gruesome assassination of Florence Ayafor remains one of the most haunting mysteries of this struggle. Ayafor was from Awing and served as a wardress at the Bamenda Central Prison—a woman of conscience who reportedly stood her ground against the unthinkable. Sources indicate she was targeted because she refused to open the prison gates to allow state agents to abduct and execute detainees under her watch. On what was supposed to be a standard official assignment to her native Pinyin for a burial in September 2019, she was met with a fate so brutal it seemed designed for a camera lens.
The video of her being chopped to pieces didn’t just appear; it was carefully recorded and distributed to shock the world. But the real shock came afterward: within days, both the Cameroonian military and the ADF claimed they had the killers. How is it possible for two “enemies” to solve the same crime at the same time?
The timing suggests a dark coordination. We now know that the regime has often used paid agents to commit “ISIS-like” atrocities only for the ADF to claim responsibility. This strategy is transparent: it allows Yaoundé to point at the videos and tell the international community that they are fighting “terrorists,” not a legitimate war of independence.
U.S. Senator Jim Risch, a key figure on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has openly slammed the Biya government for creating conditions where such jihadist-style tactics thrive. By using puppets to validate these horrors, the regime successfully avoids the negotiating table, claiming there is no one civilized enough to talk to.
A new awareness:
Our people must understand that the blood of Florence Ayafor was used as currency to buy international silence. The regime assassinated her because she wouldn’t betray her duty, then used their puppets to brand our movement with the mark of terror. This playbook is a desperate attempt to delay our arrival in Buea.
To every Ambazonian: do not be moved by these staged horrors. Every video designed to make us look like monsters is just another hurdle the regime is trying to put in our way. Stay vigilant, keep your eyes on the prize, and let the truth guide us home.
