The Denial of Moral Truth Under Religious Oppression

For many Ambazonians, these institutions were not neutral. Our land was taken, our people displaced, and our suffering often met with theological justification or political silence. Faith was used not to protect the people, but to pacify them.

What institutions will be recognized in the Federal Republic of Ambazonia after independence—especially those that operated on our soil during the years of war? This includes the Catholic Church, Presbyterian institutions, Islam, and organized Christianity as a whole.

These entities did not stand with truth, justice, or the Ambazonian people when the Cameroonian state declared war on our homeland. Instead, many aligned themselves—by silence, compromise, or cooperation—with an oppressive regime that waged violence against our communities. Their failure to stand for moral truth allowed injustice to flourish.

This raises serious questions for our future: Will Christianity and Islam continue to operate freely in an independent Ambazonia? If so, should they be subject to national regulation and taxation like any other institution? What accountability will exist for institutions that enabled oppression?

For many Ambazonians, these institutions were not neutral. Our land was taken, our people displaced, and our suffering often met with theological justification or political silence. Faith was used not to protect the people, but to pacify them.

Before the arrival of foreign religions, Ambazonians had their own spiritual systems, rooted in community, land, and ancestral responsibility. Independence requires more than borders—it requires the recovery of cultural sovereignty and moral self-determination.

These issues cannot be ignored. The Federal Republic of Ambazonia must confront them honestly when restoration comes.

Long live the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, in exile and on the Home Front. Long live truth, clarity, and justice for Motherland Ambazonia.

Hon. Che
